Limoneira’s executive leadership team will provide an update on the company’s long-term growth strategy and shift towards an asset-lighter model, followed by a live Q&A on Monday, June 26th.

The following day on Tuesday, June 27th attendees will have the opportunity to tour Limoneira’s facilities, including its packinghouse, lemon orchard and real estate development project, Harvest at Limoneira.

Harold Edwards, President and Chief Executive Officer of Limoneira, stated, “We are in the midst of undergoing a strategic transition towards an asset-lighter business model through the expansion of our agency and grower partner services and through the monetization of select, non-strategic assets either by outright sale or real estate development. We believe this transition will lead to improved consistency of earnings, increased EBTIDA and dividends per share, reduced debt, a right-sized balance sheet and improved return on invested capital. Limoneira has been in existence for 130 years and over that time the company has amassed valuable land and water assets throughout California, Arizona, Chile and Argentina that have an underappreciated book value on our balance sheet. Over the past 9 months, we have made progress in the monetization of those assets, significantly over their book value with a total of $130 million in proceeds and another $50 million expected in the next 12-18 months. As it is an exciting time for our Company and our shareholders we wanted to use this investor day as an opportunity to educate the investment community so that they walk away with a better understanding of where we are headed as a company and why we believe there is significant upside to our current valuation.”
