Paul Bodnar is the Director of Sustainable Finance, Industry, and Diplomacy at the Bezos Earth Fund. Previously, he was Global Head of Sustainable Investing at BlackRock, where he helped build its $500 billion sustainable funds business. His career includes roles as Chief Strategy Officer at RMI, Special Assistant to the President at the Obama White House, and U.S. lead negotiator for climate finance at the State Department. Paul also served as Director for Carbon Finance at Climate Change Capital and co-founded Vertis Environmental Finance. He holds a BA from Stanford and an MA from Harvard.
