Mark Swanson brings significant expertise in product development and manufacturing to Solaria. In his role as COO, he heads global manufacturing, supply chain and sourcing operations. Prior, Mr. Swanson was COO of Borrego Solar where he ran the engineering, procurement, and construction business. In this capacity, Mark increased Borrego's share of the non-utility market by more than a factor of two, making Borrego the number one commercial solar EPC in the US. Prior to Borrego, he worked at SunPower Corporation where he ran the global module manufacturing organization as well as led the product introduction and supply chain development team. Prior to SunPower, Mark was CEO at Harbor Fluid Products, where he restructured a legacy business from pure contract manufacturing model to ODM model resulting in increased margins and sales. Mr. Swanson earned an B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University, and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan.
