Yuhau has been trading, originating and structuring environmental commodities transactions since 2009. He got his start in the market at Noble Group, originating voluntary carbon offsets with the potential to be accepted into the California Cap and Trade compliance market as well as the proposed US Federal Cap and Trade program (i.e., “Waxman Markey”). From there he went to NRG, where he traded compliance and voluntary markets in Carbon (CCA and RGGI), Renewable Energy Credits (Ercot, PJM, NEPOOL), Nox and SO2 (EPA CSAPR program), as well as various regional ERC products around the US. In late 2020 Yuhau joined the Morgan Stanley power and gas trading desk in New York, where he has led the effort to build out and expand the firm’s capabilities and product offerings in all things environmental commodities.
