Piers is Chief Financial Officer at Pangea Bio. He has more than 20 years Board level experience in drug discovery, clinical development in biotech, covering both small molecules and gene therapies. He has served as CFO of COMPASS Pathways, Verona Pharma, and uniQure NV (all Nasdaq), as well as C4X Discovery (Aim), Amsterdam Molecular Therapeutics (Euronext Amsterdam) and BioAlliance (Euronext Paris). Private company experience includes CellCentric, Quethera and Arrow Therapeutics.

Prior to his experience in biotech, Piers worked in investment banking for almost 10 years, focusing on M&A and equity capital markets; he holds an MA in Law and Management Studies from Cambridge University and qualified as an ACA with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
