Dr. Peter Lamp is the General Manager Battery Cell Technology for the BMW Group. Dr. Lamp is responsible for R&D on battery cell technology and leads the BMW Group's Battery Cell Competence Center and associated worldwide R&D network. Dr. Lamp was also responsible for the product development of lithium-ion cells for the BMW i3 and i8. Dr. Lamp is a 20-year veteran of the BMW Group.
