Dr. Travis Deyle is the co-founder and CEO of Cobalt Robotics -- the largest provider of robot-enabled services for safety, physical security and facilities management. His mobile robots help companies make their spaces smarter, safer, & more secure through automation of key workflows and enhanced intelligence gathering.
Dr. Deyle is a world-renowned technologist at the intersection of robotics, sensing, and RF systems. He obtained his PhD in Robotics from Georgia Tech, where he built some of the first mobile robots to operate in real homes. He created cyborg dragonflies as a postdoc at Duke University, built implantable medical devices at Google[x] Life Sciences, and spent time working on nuclear "stuff" at Sandia National Labs. He has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications, has more than 40 patents issued or pending, and was named a MIT Technology Review "Top Innovator Under 35” in 2015.
