Raphael has over 17 years of experience in capital markets and strategic communications with a particular emphasis on consumer branded companies. He has provided clients with investor relations solutions as well as ongoing consulting services to complement existing internal resources. Raphael has also built strong relationships with sell-side, buy-side, investment banking, and private equity professionals and is seen as a trusted resource in helping companies navigate the public markets while managing various stakeholders.

Raphael has worked on a variety of investor relations consulting engagements for companies with market capitalizations ranging from $50 million to over $3 billion. His experience includes IPOs and secondary offerings (Dave & Buster’s, Del Frisco’s, Wingstop, IPIC Entertainment, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Texas Roadhouse), spin-offs (Chipotle from McDonald’s, Fiesta from Carrols), merger & acquisitions (Wendy’s/Arby’s, Ruth’s Chris / Mitchell’s Fish Market, Del Frisco’s / Barteca, Levy Acquisition Group / Del Taco, Leo Holdings / CEC Entertainment), go-private transactions (Benihana, California Pizza Kitchen, Caribou Coffee, Einstein Noah, Bojangles’), investor day projects (Keurig Green Mountain, Dunkin’ Brands, Red Robin), along with shareholder activism and executive transition engagements.

Prior to joining ICR in 2003, Raphael worked on the sell side covering the restaurant industry at Gerard Klauer Mattison (BMO Capital Markets). His previous experience also includes various corporate finance and planning roles at IBM Global Services and management consulting at Deloitte & Touche. Raphael holds a Master in International Affairs from Columbia University and Bachelor of Science from Yeshiva University.
