Luiz Henrique Spinardi is the Head of M&A of Lavoro. He joined Lavoro’s M&A team in September 2018 after nearly two decades in mergers and acquisitions and at least 30 transactions in multiple sectors. Before Lavoro, Luiz worked at VGL Finanças (2014), an M&A boutique, where he led several transactions in the healthcare, food, and other sectors. Previously, Luiz worked at HSBC Investment Bank (2012), where he was involved in mergers and acquisitions, and equity and debt offerings. He started his career in 2005 at DGF Investimentos as an alternative investment fund manager, responsible for direct investments and divestments. Luiz holds a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and an MBA from the London Business School and a specialization in Private Equity and Venture Capital from University of California, Berkeley.
