Greg serves as a Managing Director and leader of the firm’s West Coast Technology Group. He has spent 20+ years in and around the technology sector, including his experience covering technology stocks as a sell-side equity analyst, as well as his industry experience working directly at one of the largest software companies in the world.
Prior to joining ICR, Greg spent over a decade at JMP Securities, a boutique investment bank focused on growth companies. Greg was a Managing Director on the software equity research team, and became a top-rated analyst covering companies in infrastructure software, application software, data analytics, security, internet infrastructure, fintech, as well as e-commerce. During his time at JMP, Greg participated in over 20 IPO processes, including serving as the lead software analyst on IPOs such as SolarWinds, Dropbox, Alteryx, Cloudera, Tableau, and New Relic, among others.
Greg also spent nearly a decade at Oracle in various Account Executive and Finance positions. While at Oracle, Greg was responsible for selling both application solutions, including ERP, CRM, and HCM solutions, and core technology solutions, including database, analytics, and middleware.
Greg holds an MBA from the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and a BA from the University of California, Davis.
