Kristy Grippi is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Equity Capital Markets at Evercore. The ECM group is responsible for sourcing, structuring, and marketing initial public offerings, private placements, follow-ons, and convertible offerings for clients across all industry sectors. ECM also advises on the market impact of strategic assignments such as mergers and acquisitions, PIPE capital raises, spin-offs, divestitures, and corporate restructurings.
With 23 years of industry experience, Ms. Grippi joined Evercore in 2021 from Goldman Sachs where she was head of the Industrials ECM Group and Equity Syndicate. Prior to covering Industrials clients, she worked with companies in the Financial Institutions and Financial Technology sectors for nearly 10 years.
Ms. Grippi has advised on 500+ bookrun transactions, including some of the world’s largest IPOs (Bank of China, Bovespa, Global Foundries, Parsons, Visa) and follow-ons (multiple offerings for AIG, American Airlines, ARAMARK, Carnival, Fiat-Chrysler (Stellantis), Gates Industrial, MetLife, Taylor Morrison Home, Vontier, Wabtec). She has helped structure some of the most unique offerings, such as the formation of the retrocessional insurance writer Blue Ocean, the IPO for the first Alternative Asset manager (KKR PEI), the first quad-tranche offering for Norwegian Cruise Lines in 2020.
She graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Mathematics from Williams College.
