HARVST offers the next generation of ready to eat meals that are convenient and heat in 90 seconds. They are a high quality, flavorful, healthier meal different from what is currently available. The meals are attractive to a generation of busy 20-somethings on the go (they are shelf stable) as readily as it appeals to Millennial parents, the Military, and School Districts. HARVST was created by Chef John Doherty (former Waldorf Exec. Chef and current BlackBarn owner) with the initial aim of feeding those in need. The model has been developed to successfully donate one meal for every 5 meals purchased at retail appealing to those who want to eat well and do well at the same time (Good Meals Good Deeds!). Distribution will initially focus on easy to access locations including Coffee chains, Office complexes and other Millennial relevant retailers.
