Kingsley Afemikhe serves as Chief Financial Officer of Xos, Inc. He coordinates Xos’ critical financial functions, including financial controls, strategy, financial planning and risk management. Previously, he served as Group Head of Strategy and M&A at MET Group, an Integrated Energy Company with operations in infrastructure assets and energy sales. He spent most of his career at UBS and Deutsche Bank focussing on industrials and natural resources investment banking. While there, he worked on transactions in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets (IPOs, follow-on offerings, private placements) and strategic advice.

Kingsley holds a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering with Business Management from the University of Birmingham, and a Master of Science in Management for Experienced Leaders from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business (where he was a Robert Joss Scholar). He serves on the Mayor of Los Angeles International Advisory Council.
