Gary is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer where he is responsible for all aspects of finance and accounting, tax, treasury, internal audit, and investor relations.
He brings nearly 30 years of global financial leadership, including almost two decades as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Driven Brands, Ferrera served as Chief Financial Officer at Skillsoft Corporation where he built their public company infrastructure and helped integrate three acquisitions while divesting a business segment.
From 2017 to 2021, he was Chief Financial Officer of Cardtronics. He also held Chief Financial Officer roles at DigitalGlobe, Intrawest Resort Holdings, Great Wolf Resorts, National CineMedia, and Unity Media. He began his career in finance as an international tax consultant and also worked as an investment banker at Citigroup/Solomon Brothers and Bear Stearns in London and New York.
Ferrera has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bentley University and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Prior to college, he served in U.S. Army Special Operations and Intelligence.
