Martin Bo Larsson is Chief Operating Officer of Abacus Asset Group in Europe. He leads the strategic and operational development of the firm’s European Alternative Investment Fund Management platform and oversees governance, risk management, and cross-border execution in support of Abacus’ asset and fund management strategies.

He joined Abacus at an important stage in its international expansion with a mandate to strengthen institutional infrastructure and support product innovation across private credit, structured solutions, securitization, and longevity-based investment strategies. Working closely with U.S. leadership, he helps integrate European and U.S. capabilities to enhance scalability, capital efficiency, and international distribution.

Martin brings more than 20 years of experience across asset management, alternative investments, and regulated financial institutions. He has held senior executive and managing director roles within regulated European investment entities and has scaled cross-border investment platforms, led institutional product development, and advised global asset managers and private markets investors. He has built and expanded regulated businesses in Luxembourg, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein while combining commercial growth initiatives with disciplined operational execution.

He holds a Global Executive MBA from KEDGE Business School and an MSc in Finance & Accounting.
