Brandon Rees is the Deputy Director of Corporations and Capital Markets for the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO). The AFL-CIO is a federation of 60 labor unions that represent 12.5 million working people. Brandon Rees also serves as a trustee of the AFL-CIO Staff Retirement Plan, the Supervisory Committee Chair of the AFL-CIO Employees Federal Credit Union, and a leadership team member for the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility's Advancing Worker Justice program. He has previously served as the Shareholder Advocacy Committee Co-Chair of the Council of Institutional Investors and as a member of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board’s standing advisory group. He received his B.A. in Economics and J.D. from U.C. Berkeley.
