Ms. McKeever is the Founder, Chief Investment Officer and Managing Member of Ides Capital, a New York-based investment advisor that constructively engages with companies to enhance corporate governance, improve sustainability policies and practices and implement operational, capital allocation and strategic changes that drive long-term shareholder value. Prior to founding Ides Capital, was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Park Row Capital. Ms. McKeever began her career at Barington Capital Group, a small-cap activist fund, where she became a Partner. Ms. McKeever served as a public company director of LQ Corporation, Inc. and Sielox Inc., where she chaired the Nominating and Governance Committee.
Ms. McKeever is a Director of the Thirty Percent Coalition and recently completed a full three-year term as a Member of the Council of Institutional Investors’ Corporate Governance Advisory Council.
Ms. McKeever has been named to Fortune’s 40 Under 40 list, Crain’s New York Business’ 40 Under 40 list, and Marie Claire’s New Guard. She is an American Swiss Foundation Young Leader and recently received the Stevens Distinguished Alumni Award in Business and Finance.
Ms. McKeever received a JD cum laude from Fordham University School of Law, a BE in Chemical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and a BS in Chemistry from New York University.
Ms. McKeever is a Founding Director of Pyroclastic Arts, the non-profit organization supporting Kris Davis’ Pyroclastic Records. She is a Young Associate of the Metropolitan Opera and the New York Philharmonic, a Member of the Jazz Gallery Gala Committee and a Member of TaylorNEXT/Paul Taylor Dance Company.
