Bonnie Saynay is Managing Director -Global Head of ESG Research with responsibility for ISS ESG’s global Research team comprising 250+ dedicated ESG analysts across 14 global locations. She oversees ESG business and research teams spanning corporate ratings, fundamental and quantitative research, screening and controversies, methodology, alternative investment research, sovereign research, and ESG thought leadership. Reporting to ISS’ CEO, she chairs the ESG methodology review board and serves on the ISS’ Leadership Team.
Bonnie previously served as Global Head of Responsible Investment at a large U.S.-based institutional investor and built the firm’s global ESG platform. Bonnie remains a frequent speaker at global sustainable investment forums and is frequently quoted on topics related to sustainable finance across multiple media outlets including the Financial Times, Bloomberg News, Kiplinger’s, Institutional Investor, and Pensions & Investments. Bonnie served as a mentor for the Cartier Women’s Initiative and as an advisory board member for the Dutch-based Rights and Responsibilities for Institutional Investors.
